Walnut End Grain Chopping Board

An end grain board in walnut, 40mm thick and a real statement piece for the kitchen. With the end grain facing up, a knife blade slips between the wood fibres instead of cutting across them, which keeps your knives sharper and leaves far fewer marks on the board. A juice groove runs around the top to catch anything that runs off, handles are cut into the ends so it is easy to lift, and there is a chamfer around the edges. Finished in food-safe mineral oil with a homemade beeswax finish on top.
